From 1 April 2011 ‘Associate Membership’ is being replaced by ‘Off-Peak’ Membership.  Off-peak members are able to use the courts at anytime before 6pm during weekdays and on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.  Matches, tournaments and coaching take priority.  However, to play at club sessions and play in matches members are required to have ‘Full Membership’.  The membership tags from 1 April 2011 will be different colours for Full and Off-Peak members.

Jane Newell is the Membership Secretary.   Jane is often at the club and is happy to take membership forms from you there, or you can post them to her at the address on the form.  If you misplace your membership form you can  download it from this link 132.84 Kb  

The subscriptions for the period 1 April 2011 to 31 March 2012 (including a small increase in the Sports Club Subscription) are as follows:

Full Adult             £135
Full Family           £310
Full Senior           £108
Off Peak Adult     £80
Off Peak Family   £170
Student                £65    (Age 18 and over and in full-time education)
Junior*                 £38    (unchanged)  download a junior membership form
*Junior membership is required for those who on 1 April are 17 years and under.  Membership is free for Juniors who on 1 April are in School Year 2 and below.

Visitors

If you wish to play with someone who is not a member please ensure each non-member pays £2. 50

There is an honesty box on the fence of court 1.  Junior visitors (under 18) pay £1.

We suggest a maximum of 3 visits before a player should become a member.

Sports Club Membership

Your Tennis Club membership includes membership of the Devizes Sports Club, where there is a bar and function room. This area can be used by members / guests at any time when the clubhouse is open. It can be hired for private functions at members rates.

Sports Club Membership Cards

This is a new system which allows adult members of the Sports Club to have a discount on alcoholic drinks.  All current members should be in receipt of their card – if not then your membership card is behind the bar.  If you lose your card there is a £5 charge for a replacement.
